so, it's kind of crazy how similar a path katherine & i have wound up on- geographically speaking- especially since we had never met prior to our session together. we both grew up in jackson, MS, graduated from ole miss and eventually found ourselves calling nashville 'home'. sure, now she is a teacher, madly in love & planning a wedding and i am a photographer madly in love with my job snuggling with my dog... buuut, we have the same first name so that counts for something too :) anyway, I immediatley adored this couple when we found ourselves finally putting faces to a string of emails to get together for their engagement session. we started our nashville engagement session at the park where joseph proposed and then headed downtown for some more playful/urban shots too.
